2023 Artists in Residence

Thanks to the generosity of The Noel Coward Foundation, we have been able to host two Writers In Residence this season. These playwrights have each been granted a one week residency at Cape Cod Theatre Project, no-strings-attached.

Peter Kim George

California born and New York based, Peter Kim George is a Korean diaspora playwright. He did his PhD at Brown University on the 19th century novel. Plays include To Red Tendons (Ojai Playwrights Conference 2022 Dr. Kerry English Artist Award) and Men Accumulate (Bay Area Playwrights Festival Finalist, Princess Grace Award Semi-Finalist, NormalAve NAPseries). MacDowell Fellow in 2024 and Alumni of Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngblood.

Lilly Camp

Lilly is a Brooklyn-based queer writer originally from Los Angeles. Plays: WHY TAYLOR SWIFT IS GAY (O’Neill semifinalist 2022), ALL EIGHT (Normal Ave NAPSeries, O’Neill semifinalist, and Bechdel Group finalist 2019, Blue Ink semifinalist 2020, Lanford Wilson New Play Festival 2021, Yale Drama Series shortlist 2022), BEST FRIENDS (Goldberg Play Prize winner, Relentless Award Special Consideration 2018, Theatre [Untitled] 2021).
